But I seriously struggled getting through the last third of the season - it was so disturbingly dark, not in a bad way per se, just really hard to watch. I definitely don't hate JJ - I thought it was seriously high quality television that did something really intriguing and interesting (exploring the trauma of being a rape survivor) within the context of being this noir psychological thriller of a superhero show.
